It's always interesting doing a country map, you discover a lot of hidden geography that you never knew existed! After many requests we have at last designed a map of France, initially just in our small size. The detail of the seabed was much more interesting at this scale, so we have made this as a 5 layer map, We actually designed it twice, the first time we accidentally left Corfu off the map! Our favourite part of this map is the deep canyon that comes right into Bayonne from the Bay of Biscay, The seabed rapidly drops to over 1000m deep not far off the beach, something all those sun bathers and swimmers are probably blissfully unaware of!
