We had a lovely custom design on the workbench last week, a graduation gift for a student completing their doctorate of fish populations around the Arklow Bank. We created a round map of the seabed off the Wicklow coast, and pinpointed the location of 7 offshore wind turbines that were the focus of the thesis. It was finished with an engraving on the back congratulating them on their hard work.
Its always a privilege to work on special pieces like this, knowing they are going to be a lasting and precious reminder of the dedication and passion that goes into a project like this.
