Custom Round Maps of Any Place in Ireland

If you're buying for someone who's hard to buy for, the answer is usually not a thing but a place — the town they grew up in, the bay where they proposed, the harbour they keep a boat in.

People have been asking us for years to map places that aren't in our range, and we're finally set up to say yes. We draw the area, and a brass pin marks the exact spot, so the map holds the whole stretch of ground while the pin holds the moment.

What's included?

The Design

Your place drawn from scratch, including all the features important to you: roads, mountains, rivers, lakes, towns, places - you pick

The Map

20cm round, cut in layers of bamboo plywood, hand finished to the highest quality in our Sligo workshop by us. 

The Frame

Owr own round award winning birch frame, patented in Europe, in your choice of black or natural finishes. 

Engraved Message

Perfect to mark a special occasion or add that extra personal touch to your gift. 

Brass Pin

Our elegant brass pins mark the exact location that's important.

How it works

Its very simple really - you fill out all the details required when you order. We send you a preview of the area we are going to make and once you're happy with that we design and make your map in about 3 weeks. 

A few key things to think about before you order: 

  1. The general area you want included and why its important. Its good to know a bit of backstory so we can make the design as personal as possible. 
  2. Any specific place names you want included (there's usually room for up to 6 on a map this size before it starts feeling a bit crowded. Make sure you double check the spelling.
  3. The eircode you want marked with a brass pin. 
  4. Any details about what's special about the area - eg if its a gift for someone who is into fishing, or hill walking - this tells us the key parts of the map that would be of interest
  5. Any key features that you'd like included eg, beaches, bays, lakes, mountains, towns
  6. The message you'd like engraved on the back
